Baking Memories 4 Kids
Baking Memories 4 Kids provides children with life threatening and /or terminal illnesses and their families an all-expense paid vacation to ALL the theme parks in Orlando, Florida. For one week, these courageous families can focus on each other in a positive, uplifting environment instead of beside a hospital bed. We recognize that having a loved one who is ill affects more than just the person afflicted, it encompasses the world of everyone around them. We give them the opportunity to create amazing, lifelong memories that may be a form of comfort for their journeys ahead.
Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma
Their mission: Lead a network that provides nutritious food and pathways to self-sufficiency for people facing hunger.
Their vision: An Oklahoma where no one goes hungry.
Change for Children funds are designated to their Food for Kids Programs, which include:
Backpack Program: Chronically hungry elementary school children receive a weekly backpack filled with nutritious, kid-friendly, shelf-stable food.
School Pantry Program: Pantries within middle and high schools allow chronically hungry students to get the food they need to sustain them after school and over weekends.
Kids Cafés: Provides meals and snacks at programs that provide tutoring and mentoring services to students after school, during breaks and over the summer.
Summer Feeding Program: Provides nutritious meals and snacks to students 18 and under throughout the summer when school is not in session.
